Cracker in OK Magazine.

Cracker appeared in the World in Action section of OK magazine. The Magazine was on sale on March 1st 2005. (issue 458) There was a large picture of him with his rider Terena and under the photo a small piece of information about Cracker and why he was in the magazine.

Best Of British Magazine 2005.

A reporter from the Best of British magazine came to Northcote about four months before the article was published in their magazine. There was a double page article including pictures about the centre and  the horses that are residents there.

Newspaper reports 

The Sun (Thursday 10th February 2005)

In this article Cracker was compared to the size of a single decker bus. An insert shows a 9ft bus with Cracker standing at 9ft 6". The main picture is of Cracker with his rider Terena.

Daily Mail (Thursday 10th February 2005)    

This is a full page article with two pictures of Cracker. The largest picture of Cracker with his rider Terena and a smaller inset is of Cracker getting titbits from Ruth Sanders.

Daily Express (Thursday 10th February 2005)

This article explains a bit about why Cracker is at Northcote and what he does there. The picture is of Terena riding Cracker on the road leading to Northcote.

The Mail on Saturday (Saturday 12th February 2005)

This is a double page spread written by the reporter. He explains what he felt when he saw Cracker for the first time and what it is like to ride him. The largest picture to go with this article is of the reporter sitting on Cracker in the yard at Northcote.

Spilsby Standard (Wednesday 16th February 2005)

This article is on the front page and shows a picture of Terena  riding Cracker in the yard at Northcote. The aim of the article was to make local people aware of the centre.

Spilsby Standard (Wednesday 23rd February 2005)

There are two articles in this paper about Northcote. The first is titled " Actor horses go on tour). This article is about the event days that are put on at Northcote and to advertise that these displays can be put on at other shows. There are two pictures to this article. The first is of Jacob, May and Cracker with visitors. The second is of Keith and Harvey doing Medieval riding skills on one of our special event days.

The second article in this paper is titled "Horse centre allays fears over rider safety" The article is about the pictures published in other newspapers with Terena riding Cracker without a riding hat. There is no picture to this article.

Spilsby Standard (8th June 2005)

This article was advertising the Trick Riding day at Northcote with stunt man Daniel Fowler -Prime. It also included a picture of Dan doing one of his stunts.

This was only a clip that lasted for a few seconds with images from the GMTV report, which was on earlier that day.
